I used to be able to combine Saturday and Sunday in a split square when I
printed a monthly calendar view in Outlook 2003. I cannot figure out how to do it in Outlook 2007. Can anyone help, please? Many thanks, -- Regina |

Outlook 2007 doesn't do compressed weekends. Try the calendar printing
assistant or other utility. See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/calendar_print.asp for links. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Diane,
Thank you. Unfortunately you have confirmed my worst fears. I spent some time with live support too with the same frustrating result. I have just sent an email to the support team detailing my frustrations as they asked me to do. I have downloaded the utility to which you refer. How do I get it to work?!? I am sorry to sound stupid here, and I am grateful to you for your help. Regards, -- Regina "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Outlook 2007 doesn't do compressed weekends. The Calendar Printing Assistant is a separate app - look for it on the
Start menu in the Microsoft Office folder. If you use vista, you can type calendar print in the start search field and it'll come up. (Just 'Calendar' will bring up vista's calendar) -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Diane -
Found it! Thank you again. Do you know how I can change the first day of the week in those monthly templates? I prefer a Monday start. Also, are there collapsed weekend days in there that I am missing?!? many thanks, -- Regina "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: The Calendar Printing Assistant is a separate app - look for it on the Start menu in the Microsoft Office folder. You'll need to check views for compressed weekends - its not an option you can set. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
