If I have a recurring (or non recurring) appointment with a start time (say
for 9.00am for example) this appointment then shows in the To-Do Bar. But, if
it is an annual event or a non recurring event with no time and so has been
entered as an All Dy Event (like a Birthday or a reminder that a bill is due
for payment on a specific day) it does not show. If I add a start time it
then displays OK (but I dont really want to add times to birthdays etc).
Can some kind soul put me out of my misety and explain wat I am doing wrong.
Many thanks

You aren't doing anything wrong - the to-do bar doesn't support all day
events. I don't expect a future SP will change it, but the next version of
outlook might.
