Default How do I keep an all day event in work hours?

I want to set an all day event for a company training, but I only want the
time to show from 8 am to 5 pm. Right now it shows from 12 am on Friday to
12 am on Saturday.

You'd have to uncheck the all-day event box and change the hours from 8a to
5p.

If it goes only from 8 am to 5 pm, it is, by definition, not an all-day
event. Days are 24 hours long. All-day events are always 24 hours long.
