Default Why can't I see the date on appointments in To Do bar?

When I look at my appointments in the To Do bar it only shows the time. I
can't tell which day of the week the appointment is for. It does show up
when I move the mouse over the appointment but I would prefer just to look at
it and see the date. Is there some setting I need to change? Thanks

No, no setting to change. It shows the next xx appointments (based on a
number you choose) up to 30 days out. The day of the week is shown if its
within the week, the day and date if it a future week.
