Default viewing tasks when sharing

hi, i have set up calander sharing and task sharing with my boss, however
when i want to view his shared calendar, i can see the calendar, but the task
pad has my tasks in it, and nto his.

Have you shared his Tasks folder? Then you can view his Tasks folder.

When you tell us your version, we can help you with much more specific
methodology.

Default viewing tasks when sharing

I think the default tasks folder (your own) will always show when viewing a
shared calendar and tasks... but if I am wrong, please feel free to correct
me.

Yep that's right Milly - if they want to see others' Tasks, they need to go
to the Tasks folder.

Default viewing tasks when sharing

the task folder is shared. we are both running outlook 2003 with sp1.
so when i open his calander, i want his taks to appear as well, not mine.

Default viewing tasks when sharing

You can't = you will need to open his Tasks folder to see the tasks. Only
the default tasks folder (your own) will show in the calendar. It is not
physically present but is a view specific to your profile. It cannot be
changed.
