I Exported outlook calander & contacts, using comma separeated values
(windows) to a dvd disk. I opened the files on the disk and they are Excel
comma separated values files. I tried to import the files back into
outlook, using the same contacts, using comma separeated values (windows)
format, the cantacts imported but the calander would not import any of the
calendar files. How do I import them into outlook calander??

Do NOT export/import native Outlook data.

Copy the .pst file from the source computer to the destination computer, and
in Outlook, use File-Open-Outlook Data File.

Either make it your default or drag and drop items from the old to the new
.pst.
