You can use the archive feature to do that. Right click on the Calendar
folder, choose Properties, go to the AutoArchive tab to get the setting for automatic archiving or use the File menu Archive command to do the deed manually. Archiving is based on the modification date of the item. I have numerous maybe infinite number of blank appointments all at 0:00 Dec
31, 1970. I didn't make them intentionally. I highlight a bunch -- dozens --and delete, but the date is still full of them. I've archived everything more than a year old; still there. This is apparently hanging up my Treo/Outlook sync, as the HotSync always fails, and the log shows dozens of identical messages, e.g. "HotSync does not support dates before 1970. The following record has been adjusted to 1970: , 12/31/1970, 0:00am" "Vince Averello" wrote: You can use the archive feature to do that. Do you have birthdays or anniversaries starting before 1970? If so, try
fixing them to start in 1971. If not, export the calendar to excel. Copy the appointments to a new calendar folder (after deleting all the hotsync errors) then import the appointments from excel.
