Is there a convenient way to get a list of calendar events for a certain day
and send them as a list or table through an email? Right now the worker is sending a screen capture which is both too large and very confusing for some workers. I can change the view to show me a list of events and set the filters/etc, but theres no way to copy this list for sending. Any ideas? |

You can "print" them to a PDF file, or Save As Web Page.

you can print to an electronic format. If a list view will do, you can copy
and paste the rows from a table view into a message. (will need to use paste special as text). See http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/copyto/excel.htm for the method. (It works in any application that accepts paste.) -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. This would work for someone like me who can quickly reformat the text so it's
readable, but I'm not sure it's good for the worker. You see right now print screens are being sent and are very large and confusing. A PDF is better and easier to read. However is there a way to just simply say "click here to see tuesday's meetings" and maybe send a link to a shared calendar date? That might be what we need. |

without knowing which post you are referring to, we don't know what is too
hard for your coworkers. No, there is no magic button to insert the calendar. If you use Outlook 2007, you can send an embedded calendar in the message body by right clicking on the calendar and choosing the option to send by email. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
