Default Changing recurring Meeting to recurring Event

Does anyone know how to change a Recurring Meeting to a Recurring Event? When
you open the series of a Recurring Meeting there is no access to the all day
event check box to do so. If you open only one instance of the Meeint there
is access to the Check box, but it is not practical (impossible) to change
the overall Meeting to an Event.

Is there a workaround apart from recreating the Meeting manualy as an Event?

Did you try changing the time to be 24 hrs or longer? Click the recurrence
button and set the duration to one day. change the start time to midnight,
otherwise it will end 24 hrs from the start time (and span 2 days).

Default Changing recurring Meeting to recurring Event

That is what made me look at this in the first place. The calendar entries in
question are all of 1 day duration in the recurrence part. But they still
show as different entry types. I actually have one that shows as a "Recurring
Meeting Event". The main issue is when synchronising with a mobile device,
these different types show as different icons, so there is a risk of missing
things.

Is there a way to mark/change an entry as either an Event, or Meeting, or
appointment after it has been created?

No. They are 'marked' is by the length or if others are included. You can't
tag them to indentify them as an appointment, event, or meeting.
