Default APPOINTMENT IN CALENDAR

I have an appointment in calendar that has somehow turned into an email. I
cannot delete it, move it, or change it in anyway. It remains in the middle
of the day and I need to get rid of it.--

If you display the calendar in a table view can you delete it?
