From Outlook? No. From the meeting organizer? Yes.

Milly:
you say the organizer can limit the number of attendants - how?

At the start (by sending the initial invitation to
a limited number of attendants) it's obvious of course, but
how can an organizer any limit?

Think about people forwarding the invitation to a larger
group - at least in the setup we are using here any 'original
invitee' can extend the invitation to other persons, they
are free to accept, and the organizer then just gets the
receipt with the information that they have accepted ...
ending up with a meeting larger than planned or wanted.

So, is there a way to avoid this?
