Hi,
I am new to this group and have not seen a similar post in the earlier posts, so I thought I would put out my question and see if anyone can help. I am part of a small company where 8-10 of us use outlook. We would like to set up a couple of shared calendars (ie: field calendar, conference room, vacation...) where each of us can see them and add/edit etc. We would also like to share contacts, if possible. Ideally, we would like to see each others schedules, although at this time it is not a priority. Since money is an issue, exchange server is not an option. I have seen a few third party software, mostly listed on the webpage http://www.slipstick.com/, although most of it is ads. Has anyone had any experience or would recommend the product Public Sharefolder by SDMD (http://www.publicshareware.com/publi...cription.html). Apparently, this product was previously known as Public OutlLook. Or, is there another option that would better meet our needs at this time. I appreciate any assistance and thank-you in advance. Sincerely, James |

I was wondering how the program MAPILab Groupware Server
(http://www.mapilab.com/groupware/server/?slpk) by Mapi Lab would comare to the Public Sharefolder program by SDMD. It seems slightly more expensive, but which one is functionally better? thanks again for any assistance. |

Hi James,
Has anyone had any experience or would recommend the product Public Sharefolder by SDMD Of course I could recommend it but this wouldn´t be fair. A test of this 3rd party tool is on this ZDNet UK Editors Choice site: http://reviews.zdnet.co.uk/software/...0004529,00.htm On the Microsoft Office Marketplace site is a list of rated third-party messaging tools: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ma...719621033.aspx I would test the solutions and would ask for a test license. -- Oliver Vukovics Share Outlook without Exchange: Public ShareFolder 3rd times awarded on the largest IT Fair in the world, the CeBIT 2006 http://www.publicshareware.com "jw" schrieb im Newsbeitrag oups.com...
