Default Calendar Formatting and Display

Is there anyway to alter the same old basic look of your outlook calendar? I
want certain tasks/events to appear different in the calendar? I am looking
for the "same look and feel" options that users have in the excel calendar to
alter the way tasks/events are displayed and to simply have more flexibility
outside of colored labels and blocked descriptions that cut off the full name
of a task/event. Also, FYI, this is a shared calendar.

Thanks,

Ismail
