Default Meeting Requests - Automatically Inserted Text

Outlook 2002/XP
I am trying to determine why, when receiving a new appointment request, some
users get automatucally inserted text in the message body of the appointment,
for example "When: Wednesday, January 14, 2009 5:30 PM-6:00 PM (GMT-05:00)
Eastern Time (US & Canada).*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*"

Others do not. It is not consistent. Is there are reason for this?
