Default Meeting Requests - Automatically Inserted Text

Outlook 2002/XP
I am trying to determine why, when receiving a new appointment request, some
users get automatucally inserted text in the message body of the appointment,
for example "When: Wednesday, January 14, 2009 5:30 PM-6:00 PM (GMT-05:00)
Eastern Time (US & Canada).*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*"

Others do not. It is not consistent. Is there are reason for this?

that is usually added to the meeting request when the recipient's client
doesn't support RTF format or when the TNEF data is corrupted by the server.
