Default Upload of 'calendar' fails

I am not working through an Exchange server - just my Outlook 2007 on my PC.
I am signed into Office Online properly but have never yet been able to
publish my calendar. It acts as if it is starting but then pops up two or
three windows too fast for me to read, and finishes with the error message
"The upload of "Calendar" failed. The next upload attempt occurs with the
next send/receive." I have tried going into Account Settings and walking
through the Change Account on my published calendar, which removes it, but
then the problem happens again. I tried creating a new, blank calendar and
got the same issue. When I look at Office Online, there are calendars there
but they have a size of 0 - in other words the calendar is created but not
uploaded. I have deleted them from Office Online, but that does not help
either. I would appreciate any insights. Thanks!
