if there is not a pattern it isn't considered recurring.

Here is the definition of recurring
1. to occur again, as an event, experience, etc. The text book definition mentions nothing about a "pattern" This answer is getting old Mircrosoft. This isn't Microsoft, it is a peer to peer newsgroup. As with any
software there are conventions, and for Outlook to consider something to be a recurrence the will need to be a pattern. Picking a favorable definition doesn't change the conditions. ... Here is the definition of recurring 1. to occur again, as an event, experience, etc. Words have meaning only in a context. For example, can you give me a single, definitive definition of "bark"? Of course not. You can define which word that is only by including the context as well. Within the context of Outlook, a recurring event ALWAYS has a regular pattern. The text book definition mentions nothing about a "pattern" This answer is getting old Mircrosoft. What makes you think Microsoft people read this? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
