Cannot add appointments
I have Office 2003 Profressional & Windows Vista.
Whenever I try to add appointments I receive message "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If problem persits restart Outlook." I have restarted Outlook several times. I have also ran the "Detect and Repair" option in Outlook. Neither have helped. Can anyone suggest how to correct this.

Um. That article is for Outlook 2000 SR1 and the hotfix it recommends is

Does it happen when you do anything else is Outlook? Reply, create task or

Cannot add appointments
I did try to google. I thought the discussion board was for help.
I can create messages, reply and send. I can create tasks and contacts and change them etc. Only problem is adding contacts. This is a new computer my son set up for me. I did have 2007 Professional on my previous computer but he could not get it to install properly on the new computer at first try. I told him I preferred 2003 to just install it.
