I have Office 2003 Profressional & Windows Vista.
Whenever I try to add appointments I receive message "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If problem persits restart Outlook." I have restarted Outlook several times. I have also ran the "Detect and Repair" option in Outlook. Neither have helped. Can anyone suggest how to correct this. |

Um. That article is for Outlook 2000 SR1 and the hotfix it recommends is
unlikely to help with Outlook 2003. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. I did try to google. I thought the discussion board was for help.
I can create messages, reply and send. I can create tasks and contacts and change them etc. Only problem is adding contacts. This is a new computer my son set up for me. I did have 2007 Professional on my previous computer but he could not get it to install properly on the new computer at first try. I told him I preferred 2003 to just install it.
