Default Set quick click bug

My set quick click in the inbox task list and in tasks is set to "click to
mark complete". changing the quick click has no effect.

Any recommendations on how to reset this behavior?

Version of outlook? Did you try detect and repair (office diagnostics in
2007)?

Outlook 2007 12.0.6316.5000

Tried detect and repair, not luck.
