When I make an entry on my calendar, and save it..and then I try to make a
change, I sometime get a small symbol in the bottom right hand corner. When I get this symbol, it will not let me make any changes. What is this symbol? Why is it there? How do I get rid of it? Dukey |

It appears at the bottom right of what window? What version of Outlook? |

Outlook 2007. The symbol is two curved arrows with a line drawn through it.
It is at the bottom of my appointment screen. If you're referring to a particular window in Outlook, what's the window's title and what vew are you using? Normally, in a calendar, an icon showing two curved arrows pointing in opposite directions indicate a recurrence, but it may have something to do with synchronizing instead. You're not precise enough in your description for me to tell. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Brian
Open Outlook. On the left side of the screen you will see these icons: Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks. Click on Calendar. Then double on any time slot and you can enter a appointment, note, or anything you want to in the slots. Is this not the appointment screen? If you do not see or have it, is there anyway I can send you a picture of the attachment of the screen? "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "Dukey" wrote in message ... Outlook 2007. You can upload a screen shot to any of the many free image-hosting web sites and then post a URL to your upload. http://www.xsolive.com/Outlook%20Scr.../AllItems.aspx allows Outlook screen shot postings. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
