Default too many hours show (2003)

I have my Outlook set to default to 1 hour appointments instead of 30
minutes. I have the Calendar options under the tools menu set to show 8 am
thru 5 pm. However, the calendar shows all 24 hours, beginning with 12 am.
How can I fix this?
Thanks

Make the window smaller or use 30 min scale.

To make the window smaller, hit the box icon next the the X in the right
side on the title bar then drag the window edges till the hours you want to
see are in the view.

To change the time scale, right click on the time scale and choose 30 min.
