Desktop BB sync blow up in process phase of Calendar. Other components (Task,
address book etc.) work fine. Any ideas? One SS discussion group member
suggested I reinstall Outlook Calendar. How do I do that without loosing my
appointments?

While you can't reinstall the calendar only, you can try office diagnostics
(help menu) - if it fails... I'm guessing you have a corrupt calendar item.
Make a second calendar folder and move everything to it then copy the items
back a few at a time and see if it syncs. Use the By Category view in both
folders during this process so you can better see what appointments you
have.
