Default how do I insure today's date always appears in calandar month view

I'm using MS Outlook 2003 and when I display the calandar month view, I do
not always get today's date. For example - today is Monday 3/30/09 and my
calandar month view displays 2/23 thru 3/29.

I had a user with this same exact issue this morning, only mine was in
Outlook 2000, however I believe this fix applies to 2003 as well. Here is
the url:

Hope this helps!!

Clicking the Today button only works at that moment your in the calendar. If
you exit the calendar to another area in Outlook or close completely and go
back into the calendar, it goes right back to February 23rd.

it's caused by using long months and compressed weekends since outlook only
displays 5 weeks in the view.

outlook 2007 handles it correctly (and displays 4 -6 weeks as needed).

If the calendar starts on Sunday and you do not use compressed weekends, it
displays all dates.
