I added a new pst file in the 2007 format due to the older format hitting its
maximum size limitation. I was able to import all my contacts and copied my calendar to the new pst file however it defaults to the empty calendar created in the new pst file. I would like to look at and have my upcoming appointments visible. I need to reset the default calendar or import the old calendar into the new blank one. Thanks in advance for any and all help |

Importing is never the correct way to move data from one Outlook to another. I would like to look at and have my upcoming appointments visible. I need to reset the default calendar or import the old calendar into the new blank one. You cannot copy the calendar folder itself. You must copy the contents of your old calendar to the new default Calendar folder. Display the old calendar in a table format like By Category, select all the items with Ctrl-A, then click EditCopy (or Move) to Folder, specifying the new default Calendar folder as the destination. This is true of ALL default folders, not just the calendar. You cannot copy the default folders themselves; you must copy the contents to the new defaults. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
