Earlier versions of Outlook did not automatically accept meeting notices as
tentative and place them in your calendar. Why was this changed in the current version? As a user, I find it disruptive. "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "imageek64" wrote in message ... It's to increase calendar reliability in organizations where free/busy is
relied on heavily - this helps to eliminate double booking because other users can see the tentative appointments in your free/busy. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. You can't. You can try moving the messages to a different folder but in most
cases the sniffer is faster than the rule and it doesn't help. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
