Hi Diane,
Thanks for your reply. Sometime she gets a message saying "cannot expand the folder". Other times she gets a message that says something else that I can't recall, unfortunately. Further, sometimes just nothing happens. I've tried this on several different computers for this user, all with the same result. Both are using MSO '03 SP3 "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: What exactly happens when she tries to use it? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "Joe" wrote in message ... I have a user who shares two Outlook calendars she's created (not her main calendar) with her group. It's been working fine for her and her people for a long time and contiues to for all except for one new person. The new person is set up with the same permissions as everyone esle, and her client is set to open the other users mailbox, but it just doesn't work. Any ideas? |

I'd start with the /cleanviews switch.

Hi Diane,
I hope my reply isn't too far back in the list for you to see. I've tried the cleanview switch but that had no effect. Do you have any other suggestions? I've noticed several others have posted recently with this same issue. Thanks again. Cleanviews was basically a shot in the dark - it fixes similar problems but
I wasn't so sure from the description that it was the cause of this but since you said you checked permissions... Triple check the permissions to insure the user has the correct permissions on the mailbox and calendar folders. If the error occurs when she tries to open the mailbox, it would be wrong permissions on the mailbox.
