Default MARK A RE-OCCURING APPOINTMENT COMPLETE

I have used Outlook for years and just recently upgraded to 07 software. I
have many appointments in my calendar that are quarterly or monthly
appointments. I used to be able to mark each individual occurance as
complete and now it will not allow me to do that, it says I must mark all
occurances as complete? Any solutions?
