In the tutorial for Outlook 2007 Calender it details how to add an appoint
via the Day view by resting your mouse cursor over the desired date and time, clinking, and then typing a description. However whenever I do this, as soon as I enter it, it then moves to the current day and time that it was entered. For example, I scroll to July 22 2009 at 2pm and click, type my description and hit enter. it then dissappears from there and appears at the current date and time. Is there a setting I am missing? It is not reacting the way the tutorial describes. Thank you! |

Try resetting the view.

Hello and thank you for your response. I closed outlook and ran Outlook.exe
/cleanviews from the run command. I did reset all of my views but still did not allow me to directly enter an appointment beyond the current date. If you can provide any other assistance it would be appreciated. Thanks again "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Try resetting the view. http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/resetview.htm -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "Jay" wrote in message ... Hmm. Resetting the view usually fixes it. Another recommendation is to clear
the forms cache (http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/formscache.htm). -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "Jay" wrote in message ...
