Default Reminders in MS Outlook 2007

Outlook will no longer post reminders from my calender. I have a message "The
operation failed. Object could not be found." The reminders work fine for my
wife's account on the same computer. Can anybody help please?

The first thing I'd try is to start Outlook once with the /cleanreminders
command line switch. Go to the Start Menu, click Run then enter:
Outlook.EXE /cleanreminders

See if that helps

Thanks for trying Vince. That did not work, unless I need to do a restart?

You could try that. Don't think that will help, though.

Have you added or removed any software recently?

No, I haven't, and this situation has existed for some time. I've just got
fed up with reminders not working. The only solution I can think is to
uninstal, and re-instal, but that would be a really heavy thing to have to do!

Was Outlook closed when you did it?

"Heavy"? Not really. It won't hurt your existing data. Try HelpOffice
Diagnostics in Outlook first, though.

Brian,

I have tried the diagnostics, and it all came back as fine. I stated "heavy"
because it means uninstalling the entire Office suite, then re-installing,
and it takes some time, then I have to set up the e-mail addresses, and I
have several of them!!!!

Try uninstalling only Outlook and reinstalling it. Be sure to make copies of
any PSTs you're using first. Your existing mail profile should remain intact,
with all your accounts. Create a new profile as well, without touching the
existing one, to see if a new profile affects the issue.
