Good Morning,
We have Exchange Server 2003 and mixed clients of Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007. Using outlook to schedule appointments, is there a way to turn off the option for invities to select "Tentative"? (I.E. force them to Accept or Decline only.) Thanks! |

No. If everyone is internal, you may be able to use custom forms published
to the organizational forms library with code that either removes the option or pops up a dialog telling them to choose accept or decline only. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "NewtoExpressionWeb" wrote in message ... Thanks, I had thought so; but was hoping MS had put in an option after all
these years. ![]() "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: No. If everyone is internal, you may be able to use custom forms published to the organizational forms library with code that either removes the option or pops up a dialog telling them to choose accept or decline only. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "NewtoExpressionWeb" wrote in message ... The closest they got was the ability to not put tentative appointments on
the calendar - that requires Exchange 2007. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "NewtoExpressionWeb" wrote in message ...
