Last week we had a problem with the msft outlook calendar. Now, when we open
Outlook we get the following message, "Could not read the calendar". Further, when I clock on calendar in the left nav, I get the following message: "Outlook cannot open this item. The item may be damaged". We lost all contacts as well, when I click on contacts it says "cannot display folder". And I can no longer access PSTs. All is not lost, as I have a BB that I can reload from, but need to fix what's going on before I can do that. Anywhere I can re-download the software from? Or any other suggestions? |

Start outlook with the /resetnavpane switch and then the /resetviews switch,
if needed. I think once you fix the problem you'll have your data back - you just need to get into it. http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/switches.htm -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "LisaR" wrote in message ... You can try a popular Outlook recovery tool called Advanced Outlook
Repair to repair your PST file. It is a powerful tool to recover messages, folders and other objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft Outlook PST files. Detailed information about Advanced Outlook Repair can be found at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/ And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe Good luck!
