Default HotSync failure

Brian - one other thing. The error message that I receive in the HotSync log
is as follows: "HotSync completed with errors". "The multi-day repeating
appointment cannot be converted for use on the handheld. Please divide the
appointment up into single days and resyncronize." - I did not have this
problem historically and when I look at the multiday or annual recurring
appointments logged in my Outlook Calendar the time span has moved to spread
over two days and has to be manually adjusted. This suggests to me that
somehow the time zone element is out of balance. I've rechecked all of the
time zone settings - in Windows Vista and in Outlook and they are both set to
PST with the adjustment to daylight savings. ...so I am at a loss now as to
what to do. Thanks, Dree

I am using Office Outlook 2007. The HotSync function has ceased to work for
multi-date or recurring events and thus the whole HotSync of the calendar is
being aborted. Any suggestions as to how to cure this?

What did you change on your PC just before "has ceased"? What error messages
do you get? Have you spoken with or written to the vendor of the sync
software? Outlook does not take an active role in the sync process and there
are no settings in Outlook that control the sync process. Are you sure your
sync software is compatible with Outlook 2007?
