So, is this info. still applicable when I use that add-on. Outlook doesn't use a file whose type is PSP. Its files are PSTs. Of you mean the PFBACKUP add-in, then it all it does is copy the entire PST (containing all your Outlook data) to a destination file system folder of your choice. If that folder is on an external drive, then wiping your main drive wont affect it.
