Is there something I can do when I send an invite to make sure those who dont
have microsoft office/outlook can open/accept invite or can they download
some software. Thanks

What version of Outlook are you using? The later versions use iCal format
which is readable by a number of apps

What version of Outlook? See if you can click ToolsOptionsCalendar Options
and locate a box labeled "When sending requests over the Internet, use
iCalendar format". If so, check it.

What version of Outlook? That's the easiest way to know.
