I'm using the Internet Calendar Subscription feature in Outlook 2007 and
I have a question. On the advanced options form, there is an "Update Limit" section. It says: "Update this subscription with the publisher's recommendation. Send/Receive groups do not update more frequently than the recommended limit to prevent your subscription from possibly being cancelled by the content provider. Current provider limit: Not published." I really need to understand how Outlook is looking for this limit. I've got a customer and someone has subscribed to a calendar, and the Outlook 2007 client is re-downloading the 2MB file every minute. That's 2.8GB / Day, 70GB / Month for ONE user. I looked in RFC-5545 and didn't see anything that looked relevant. I searched for this and only one thread where someone was asking the same question, but they never got an answer. So, if someone could please let me know how to tell set a refresh limit for iCal files that Outlook 2007 would honor, I would appreciate it. |
