Every time microsoft outlook 2007 sends/receives, I am promted for multiple
passwords to publish my calendar and to receive shared calendars from others. This involves microsoft office on line. How can I eliminate this from happening? I don't need to waste my time entering 10 passwords three or more times a day. Please advise. |

Try this workaround - its supposed to work but isn't working for me.
Go to office.com and sign in with the same Live ID you use to publish your calendar and select "Save my e-mail address and password", Outlook should work just fine after restarting to publish or update a subscribed calendar again, until you sign out of Office Online and/or LiveID. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ... you need to delete the calendars from tools, account settings. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "tk" wrote in message news ![]() Every time microsoft outlook 2007 sends/receives, I am promted for multiple passwords to publish my calendar and to receive shared calendars from others. Why the talk about work arounds? Why isn't somebody at Microsoft getting a
handle on this problem and fixing it? Everything I read indicates that we still should be able to use the publishing capabilities of Outlook 2007. This problem just started to happen this month (12/2009) so they should be able to find what they messed up and return it to its former condition. WHY HASN'T MICROSOFT MADE ANY STATEMENT ON THIS PROBLEM? "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Try this workaround - its supposed to work but isn't working for me. Like all companies, they don't usually announce when there is a problem. If
they are like many companies at the end of the year, operations is shorthanded over the holidays so problems are prioritized. Try the workaround - it does work, although I'm not sure what the secret is (since it took me a while to make it work) - probably cookie handling settings and restarting the browser and outlook. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "jhlippe" wrote in message ...
