Default Appointments not setting correctly

I have a user in Outlook 2007 that when he sets an appointment or calendar
item for a certain time or day it sets the appointment at the current day and
time. i.e if he sets a personal reminder or appointment for a week from now
and hits enter it sets the appointment at the time and day it is now. If he
sets 3 appointments they all stack on one another. Any ideas how to correct
this? Thank You

Default Appointments not setting correctly

How is this user setting the item? Double clicking in the Calendar?
File-New?

He can either double click in his calendar, click once and type something or
set it through schedule. When he hits enter to accept the appointment it sets
the appointment at the time and day it currently is. It follows him also. I
logged in as him on my computer set up his mailbox and it still did it. It
seems to be a setting or rule that is attached to his mail account. I just
cant find it.
