Default why does a backslash automatically appear before a comma in calen.

My typical calendar enrty is as follows:

Smith, John-Followup appointment. At some point it is mysreiously revised to
read:

Smith/,John-Followup appointment.

Why? Thank you.

Did you click it and go into Edit mode and hit the slash key?
