Hi,
The Help-About dialog box of outlook express shows a list of some dll files and there locations. Its been this way for I think a long time. Why is this so? Why doesnt other applications of windows os show dll file names. There is nothing wrong with showing them there but I have had this question in my mind for years and only now I thought I post this here ![]() Thanks, Ab. |

But why only Outlook Express? Why not Word, or Excel, or IE, or Calc,
Notepad, etc etc. Regards, Ab. "Steve Cochran" wrote in message ... I think they did it to verify the file versions of the program. steve "Abubakar" wrote in message ... Each application area has its own development staff. So its up to them
to have this feature or not. I suspect it's in OE as a debugging tool. OE is dependent on numerous DL files that aren't under the control of OE. They can be changed as other programs are installed or updated. With programs in Office, that's less of an issue. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Abubakar" wrote in message ... But why only Outlook Express?
