Hi,
My Sent Mail Items has reach 2GB Limit and I have move some mails to another folder. Then I choose to compress the Sent Mail Items Folder. However, most of my e-mail lost after the compression. I wonder what happens to my mails?Thank you. Almost forgot, during the compression, a warning message like "outlook express is using the file" has prompted on the screen. |

You should never let a .dbx file exceed 100MB. You should *never* store messages in the default folders such as Inbox or Sent Items. Store them in user created folders, made as sub-folders to Local Folders. Hopefully, you have a back up. If not, there are paid programs you can use to recover your emails. Alias |

I think your only chance at this point will be the extract from disk feature
of DBXpress (see www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/) For the future see points 2 and 3 here (www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx) and backup frequently. steve "Justin" wrote in message ...
