Default help with outlook express6.0

Hi to all,
I am new to using outlook and need some help from u guys. .I am using
outlook Express 6.0 Kindly Help me in this regard
1. When ever I open the outlook it is open to all to look into my inbox is
there any way to protect it by giving a password so that only I would be
able to view the inbox and other mails I got.
2. Regarding newsgroups is there any way I can retrieve all the messages?
And if not is there any way I can search all the messages in that group for
a particular query? Right now I can search only in the messages which I have
downloaded.
3. How to put a tag like donotspam in my email id so that I don't get junk
mail?
4. Apart from msnews.microsoft.com is there any other server I can add?
5. I am unable to download any file attachments why?

These are the problems that I am having. I will appreciate any one helping
me
Regards
Suresh

No. You can password protect an identity, but not an individual folder.
Create a second identity and protect your own.

2. Regarding newsgroups is there any way I can retrieve all the messages?

News servers only keep messages for a certain number of days. Tools |
Options | Read. Uncheck: Get XXX headers at a time to get them all. OE only
mirrors what is on the news server. So, when it is deleted from the server,
it is deleted from what you see. File | Save As if you want to save them
permantely.

3. How to put a tag like donotspam in my email id so that I don't get junk
mail?

Do a Google search for a spam program, or do what you can with Message
Rules.

4. Apart from msnews.microsoft.com is there any other server I can add?

Again, do a Google search.

5. I am unable to download any file attachments why?

I have no idea. What happens when you try?

These are the problems that I am having. I will appreciate any one helping

Are you using WIN XP? If you are, get over to Windows Updates ASAP. You are
missing many critical updates.
