Default Command Bar / E-mail Icon

Recently ugraded Internet Explorer to 8.0 ever since then, I'm unable to
access my email (outlook Exp ver 6.0) through the command Bar Icon for
E-mail. I have to access email through desktop Icon. How can I correct this
problem.
