I am using Microsoft XP Media Center Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3.
I have been using Outlook Express for years, and currently have version 6.0
installed. However, of late I have received the following message shortly
after the OE Splash Screen appears:

TITLE: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
MESSAGE:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
This program has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

The message only appears for a few seconds, then the message and the OE6
Splash Screen disappears. I have searched the Internet and found probably
30,000 solutions, but none have worked so far. I also noticed that all of
the solutions were from a few years ago and, as such, may no longer be
working solutions with MS Updates that have came out since then.
