OETool has a button to swithch between HTML and Plain Text.

Is that any different from pressing Alt-Shift-H (aka Alt-V,H)? w

It is for mouse users.
Besides, OETool is free and has so many other nice features.

Actually, I did a little bit of experimenting and it seems that Alt-Shift-H
(and equivalents) doesn't toggle between plain text and HTML. If you have
set "Read all messages in plain text" mode, it switches to HTML for the
current message only. If I do Alt-Shift-H again, it's still in HTML. Or if
I then go look at the next message, it's in plain text, and if I now go back
to the original message, it's back to plain text again.

The OETool buttons seem to toggle between the plain text and HTML modes as
if you were checking/unchecking the box in ToolsOptionsRead (i.e.,until
the mode is changed back).

But what is the difference between the two buttons? (In my installation,
the two leftmost,) The popup description for one is "Toggle plain text mode
for other messages" and for the other, "Toggle plain text mode for this and
other messages." They both seem to have the same effect, "..for this and
other messages"
