While searching for a specific email, I happened to notice that I have six (6)
copies of every email in my "Local Folders"! I have no clue as to how these duplicates got there, but is there any way to remove them other than the obvious way - removing them one-by-one? Bill |

This tool is the only option I know of.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your reply - I'll give it a try! But, how did these duplicates get there in the first place? Something I did in a backup process, or what? I use OEBackup occassionally. Could this be the culprit? Now that I think about it, if I backup into the same directory, maybe it doesn't have the capability to recognize a duplicate! I've seen a problem with multiple e-mails being downloaded, but not
multiplying by themselves after they were downloaded. The link below will explain that. I don't use OEBackup, but I would check if the way you are doing it is the way it is recommended.
