I am helping a friend who has a dial up modem. She has just got a new machine
with XP and OE6. The modem works fine. IE6 dials up no problem, OE6 dials up fine at start (unless I remove that tick). If the machine is already on the internet through one of these two options, my friend can send and receive mail without problems However, if she have not dialed up from either of these two options, and then presses Send and Receive, OE will come with the message, that the account cannot be reached as you are not on the Internet. What do I need to change to get Send & Receive to work properly? Thx in advance. AB |
