I set up an account in OLE 6. I entered my pop3 (pop.charter.net)and smpt
servers. It will check my mail fine. But when I re-boot I go back to OLE 6 and my pop3 has changed to an ip address. The smtp stays the same. I have to change it(pop3) back every time I re-boot to get my mail. I am running win xp (I liked win 98 sooooo much better)Please help! |

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. An anti-spam program can also cause this. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jethrobo66" wrote in message ... I set up an account in OLE 6.
