Help!
Me and my wife have separate inboxes in our OE V6. However, some of my
wife's messages have suddenly gone wierd. When she clicks on the message, the
body of the message has disappeared to be replaced by "Message could not be
downloaded at this time" even though they've been on the OE for months. The
sender is still there in the list but when you open up the message the send
is then unspecified This appears to be random, some message affected some
not. My inbox is not affected.
Any ideas

Her inbox is likely corrupted. While logged into OE in her Identity make a
note of her message store directory (Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store
Folder). Then backup her (and yours for that matter) messages (see
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6). After backing up, then move all the messages
that you can from her inbox to a new folder in OE. Then close OE and go to
that directory where her message store was and move the inbox.dbx file to
another directory. Then when OE is reopened, it will make a new inbox for
her.

The old messages that would not open may or may not be retrievable using 3rd
party extraction tools (see point 4 in the link above).

If she still has message store problems after that, then she needs to set up
a new Identity and then import from the old one.
