Hi Christine,
I did not find a "signature" file created in Word to be compatible with Outlook Express. Jim offers a very helpful answer. The picture could be larger than 3-4 KB if it is not part of the message file. The path to a picture file in a Web folder could be used. Even so, the picture should not be too much larger for everyday mailings. Also, many people block HTML content. Knowing the recipient welcomes Rich Text (HTML) mail is helpful. -- Tim K. aka Kuay Tim MS-MVP - Outlook Express Lynnwood, WA * "christine" wrote in message ... I want to add a jpg into my signature. I created a file in Word with the picture inserted and the text I wanted. I have tried saving it as a HTML, and other formats but I keep getting an error message when I compose the email (and I cannot see the picture) that the picture cannot be found. Suggestions?
